Meeting someone new who became a special friend!

Our friendship started on March of 2013. First I used to hate her, I couldn't stand her presence in my job. One day, my brother in love was talking with her and I was so boring that I joined them. 

When I sat down, she was talking about her daughter and her pregnancy. Then I made a joke and we all started to laugh together. A few minutes later my brother in law left us alone, so I had to talk with her, even though I didn´t want to. Two or three hours later, I realized that she was very funny, friendly and that we had lots of things in common. 

Nowadays we are all the time together, we go to the airport riding our bikes and sometimes only with a sight I can understand what she wants to tell me. So now I have to say that that one meeting made a day I will never forget.

                                                    FAMOUS OR SUCCESSFUL?

Many people dream of being famous and others dream of being successful. If you have to choose, which one would you be? Here you have some points to help you to decide. 

If you like fame, you should think first about disadvantages. For example, you don´t have privacy. Paparazzies are always stalking you. On the other hand, being famous helps you to have interesting jobs and that gives you an excelent remuneration.

Being successful but no so well-known has advantages, such as going holidays whenever you want and nobody would be spying you and taking photos without your acquiescence. One disadvantage of being successful is that you have a lot of work to do and you might be stressed. So, I prefer to get andry a few minutes for some photos I didn´t allowed to take than being almost all day working and have headaches.

Dear Mr Alan Reid,

I have seen your advertisement on the newspaper and I am writing to aply for a summer camp job as an activities supervisor.

I am interested in doing this job because I would like to improve my English and I also like children. On the other hand, I need to save money so the job is perfect for me because on summer I am doing nothing interesting and I think it will be funny.

It would be nice if you could tell me what salary you are offering for the job and the time you give us to explore Scotland.

I am a 19 year old student from London. I am saving money for University in order to help my parents due to the fact that they can not afford all the costs of it.

Dear Caroline, 

Thank you for inviting me to the camp. Of course I would like to go but I need to know when the camp is, so as to organize my days here. 

I love the idea of studying science in order to learn about animals, I´m in love with them! Specially sea animals such as dolphins, starfish and turtles 

Could you tell me how expensive the camp is? I have to save money for it and it would be perfect if I know hoy much I need to go there. It´ll be perfect if we go on a trip. I think I will choose The Great Barrier Reef because there must be a lot of wierd fishes and plants. It will be an unforgetable experience, don´t you think?

El Tostadito

This is an original restaurant of fast food. It is in Tucumán y Esteco Street in the front of the University. El Tostadito is quite lovely and there the people that serve you are very friendly.

The place is not huge but it´s comfortable. It has bars and tables with banquets where you can sit for eating. There is also a T.V. for you not to get bored. And if you want to eat something sweet they have a completely shop whit any kind of candy you can imagine. The food is delicious. They have more than 30 varieties of sandwiches and they give the possibility to make up your own sandwich. There are five different type of bread that you can choose to make your sandwich and also you can decide if you want it toasted or not.

This restaurant is one of my favorites because every time I go there I really enjoy the food because it makes me fly. I invite you to go there and taste one of it´s variety of sandwiches and then when you realize you´ll be a Tostaholic!

It was a trip I'll never forget. We were in Pichanal for my boyfriend's grandmother's birthday and we were going to pick up her sister from her house. We were on the van with my friend and my uncle in law. Obviously the house was many miles within the field and the truck was not in very good condition. 

During the trip, the van was broken and we could not do it boot. Luckily passed a bus with people that helped us make it go. When we found the farm, we had to drive about ten milles up to the house. When we arrived as my uncle was not sure that was the house, followed road in ...

And what happened next? The van got stuck in moving waters. I was so scared and so my friend! We could not make it move!! And the worst thing was that there was no phone signal so we couldn´t call anyone to get some help...We were heat transpiring in the truck and we couldn´t go out because if we go out we were going to get stuk in the moving waters and we have nothing to drink! 

Fortunately after three hours the van started to move and we could go out from there! Of course we never found her sister but after all we arrived home safety. 

Mi favourite famous person

     Mi favourite famous person is Angelina Jolie. She is an actress. She was born on June 4 of 1975. Angelina got married three times. Actually she’s married with Brad Pitt and they have six children together.

     

     Angelina Jolie started her career when she was fifteen years old as a model and then started acting at the age of sixteen (1991). But her professional career started in 1993 when she made her first starring rol at Cybrog. She won a lot of prices during her career, including three Globo de Oro.

     

    First she wasn’t interested al poor people, but then that changed when she was filming Tomb Raider and saw how many poor people where in the place she was. She worked for the Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados and then she made a trip with Naciones Unidas. In 2006 she announced the foundation that seeks donations to Global Action for Children, each initially donating a million dollars.

   She stared a los of famous films and the one I like the most is Changeling. I think she is by far the most famous person that exist. And the most I like of her is that she cares for children.
